Specialist Waste Disposal
Abacus Skip Hire can
help with today's increased legislation when it comes to disposing of specialist
waste. It is more important than ever to have a professional solution to
your special waste transportation and disposal requirements.
Much of today's
waste is now classed as specialist waste since changes to legislation in 2007.
These items can include:
- Asbestos
- Contaminated soil
- Tyres
- Refrigerators
- Electrical components
- IT & Office equipment
Abacus
Waste Management provides an environmentally friendly and cost effective collection
service to dispose of your specialist waste in accordance with Environment Agency
WEEE Directives.
The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive
came into force in January 2007 and aims to both reduce the amount of WEEE being
produced and encourage everyone to reuse, recycle and recover it. The WEEE Directive
also aims to improve the environmental performance of businesses that manufacture,
supply, use, recycle and recover electrical and electronic equipment.
Abacus waste management can offer help and advice to ensure you are compliant
with all new waste directives and supply all of the required documentation
related to specialist waste disposal. You can be confident that the documentation
we supply meets all regulatory requirements, and you will also have comprehensive
management information that provides a sound basis for future planning. Compliance
documentation (Site waste management plans) for contracts over 250K are
now mandatory, and we can provide all information detailing our recycling procedures,
and most importantly, our recycling performance figures.
